I hope most phpLD (php link directory) webmasters are aware of the free StoneFlash template which is now quite popular with thousands of downloads. Stone Flash is a completely free, professional, clean and really fast loading template for phpLD script starting from version 2 to 3.1.
The StoneFlash template is designed by my friend Shabu Anower of OSDesigner and sponsored by myself and was one of the first free phpLD templates to offer support for nearly all phpLD versions.
Due to popular demand and many requests from various phpLD webmasters, we are pleased to launch the StoneFlash version 2.5 compatible with the current latest phpLD version 3.2.

Recently, I upgraded this blog to WordPress 2.2 and everything apparently went well as usual. This upgrade is highly recommended as it brings more security patches and better, streamlined DB queries and codes. But problems cropped up when I found that wordpress team has decided to remove the trailing slash that was added to the permalinks by default in older versions.
Webmasters and geeks mush have read or know about the open source / GPL free content management (CMS) script Joomla. Joomla is a great, extensive and feature rich php-mysql script suitable for building dynamic portals and sites of any size. Joomla is not only professionally coded and maintained by hundreds of contributing programmers but also a very optimized, secure and robust package. Like most other CMS scripts, Joomla too has support for templates. There are lots of sources for free as well as paid Joomla templates and a lot of web designers are into making customized templates for own use and selling them for profit.
