The news that the PR would update was in the air since the last week of June. A little activity on different datacenters was seen on June 30 and people took it as the toolbar PR update rolling in… But, to my surprise the little activity on the datacenters didn’t seem to be steady and the toolbar PR didnt change.

After waiting about 12 days, the datacenter sync activity started showing at around midnight of July 12th and on July 13th, some of my new sites with previously PR 0 started showing some increased PR. Exisitng sites with PR didnt receive any boost. Some even lost a PR point or two…

This is probably due to the PR update …
