Search Engine Marketing Glossary

14 05 2007

Search Engine MarketingToday I came across another great resource which I’d like to share with you all. It’s a good, extensive Search Engine Marketing Glossary (SEM glossary). You may not know what link baiting or a three way link is; so did I a year ago. If you are into building, managing or marketing websites of any type and size, then this glossary is a must read for you. There are hundreds of important terms and their descriptions on this site and thrust me, it’s surely interesting to know the different terminologies in Search Engine Optimization/Marketing.

The SEM Glossary is a good resource for general readers, webmasters as well as aspiring SEO/SEM professionals. Learn about the basic terms like the different types of redirects, tags, keywords, on page and off page SEO factors, search engine related terms and algorithms, advertising related terms, linking and web-page coding standards to mention a few. To understand and make good progress in the field of search engine optimization or marketing, an individual has to get his basics clear and this is where this glossary helps.

This glossary is a resource of Apogee search engine marketing firm, established in 2001 and have grown to become one of the 25 largest search engine marketing firms today. Apogee focuses on a variety of proven online marketing methods that include paid search, natural search, affiliate marketing, and pay-per-call. They have helped a lot of their clients achieve Top Google Rankings through search engine optimization services. All of Apogee Search’s solutions are designed to drive qualified, targeted visitors to B2B and B2C websites for more leads, customers, revenues and profits.
