I signed up for Smorty as a blogger about a month ago to test their services and possibility as a backup blog advertising agency for my paid posting needs. Well, my experiences with them has proved to be quite good. After free registration, you can login to the blogger account area and add your blog. After you blog is approved after a few days, you can view and choose paid blogging opportunities from the blogger panel itself. You’re given about 2 days 22 hours to complete and submit the post for review, which may take upto a week; generally lesser than that.

What I like about them is they pay weekly and in time to my PayPal Account. Smorty has also implemented an index called Smorty Score which updates as you take up new assignments. Each post will bring you a minimum of US$6 and the PageRank of your blog along with a high Smorty smart score determines whether you receive higher paid ad campaigns, bringing you up to even $100 per post.

You could add as many blogs as you wish according to them, but I had trouble adding more blogs to my account. Also, their support isn’t responsive, as my 2 support emails were never answered till date. As far as I’ve seen, the number of opportunities on offer for my PR5 blog are not many and they usually vary from $5 to $10…dunno if that has any direct link with the smorty blogger score.

For advertisers, Smorty should be a good service to get sponsored blog posting at cheap rates. Smorty also features an affiliate program to earn more by referring new clients to them. Bloggers are advised to go through their FAQ and Rules before signing up so as to ensure that they are informed about the functioning of the system.
