Social bookmarking not only gives traffic from the particular social sites but also improves your SERP ranking.

If you have a fair amount of votes in authority sites such as digg.com and your site’s content is a quality and unique one, it would for sure boost your search engine results (especially Google).

I am a huge fan of social bookmarking. It is a great way to find out what sites are good on the web. With everyone having a website, it is a good way to weave out those less desirable as well as find those that would be unfound otherwise.
