I was with them(Virpus) from sometime around August 2007 to late November or early December of 2007. Everything seemed fine until the beginning of November, when it seemed like they were having constant problems. I would like to note, the people who work their were always polite, and always gave assurances that the problems would be fixed soon.

While I was there I lost thousands of visitors, between 2/3 & 3/4 of my adsense revenue, and 1 to 2 pagerank on all of the site’s pages. It just got to a point where I either had to close down my website, or move to a new host. Since I had put too much work into my main website to give up, I moved everything to a dedicated server at Burstnet. Went from paying $40 a month for part of a machine, to paying $80 a month for an entire machine that was still multi core. It’s been smooth running ever since.

For some reason Virpus popped into my mind a few minutes ago, so I searched them, to see if they were managing to do any better these days. It’s a shame they are still having problems.

We had 2 VPS accounts with them and within very short span we cancelled both. Ken promised refunds and its over 12 months now we haven’t seen the refund amounts coming back.

Total 18 days site not in service in past 23 days, no reply, no respond, no update!

Our site all service have failed for past 9 days, cannot connect to cpanel, email/ftp/mysql database all failed! Complain more than 5 tickets but all no reply after reply “we are forwarding your ticket to the Management department….”

admin seem not willing to fix my account, every day I access to my site just see the error message ” Unable connect to mysql database”

I wish I could share your enthusiasm over the company. Based on you recommendation here I signed up with them. To make a long story short I basically have not been able to use the server for over 48 hrs now.

Support is non existing. ( getting canned replies “we are experiencing outages” don’t really help anybody)
In short they seem to be unable to provide a stable reliable hosting solution.

You can always look at their website VPS page for current offers or webhostingtalk.com forum’s offers section. It’s mentioned in my post their servers are at 1102 Grand DC in Kansas.
